Online Credit Application/Requests
CreditMatrix offers a customizable credit application system that enables a company to capture and process credit applications on-line.

CreditMatrix communicates the outcome of a credit application processing in an online response and by e-mail to all the stakeholders (customer, risk managers, sales & marketing, product managers and any other interested parties) of the customer account.

Automatic Credit Request Checklist
Upon submitting a request, CreditMatrix determines if the requests requires additional documents from the customer in order to be processed. Credit request documents are specified as part of the Risk Manage Rules in the Business Process Modeler.

Examples of credit request documents include:

  • Bank/Trade references
  • Personal guaranty
  • Corporate guaranty
  • Financial statements, etc
CreditMatrix communicates the additional documents needed to process a credit requests in an online response and by e-mail to all the stakeholders (customer, risk managers, sales & marketing, product managers and any other interested parties) of the customer account.

Log and Track Request Documents
CreditMatrix logs additional documents needed to fulfill a request into the credit request document tracking system.

Risk Managers can log into the document tracking system at anytime to update the status of credit request documents expected from the customer.

Upon receipt of all documents (documents can be waived by the Credit Risk Manager in CreditMatrix) from the customer, CreditMatrix e-mails a status notification to the stakeholder of the account, and triggers the risk evaluation process.

Credit Request Processing Life Cycle Management
Every credit request is processed through different phases in its life cycle – from credit request submission to final decision. CreditMatrix maintains historical information of phases of a credit request processing life cycle for audit trail and for on-line quick references.

Thus, Risk Managers can evaluate such questions as:

  • How long it took to receive request documents from a customer?
  • How long it took to process a credit requests?
  • How long an application stayed pending in any phase of the credit request life cycle, etc?


Manage customer's and customer referees' contact information

Maintain contact information for:

  • Customer referees – a customer could have one or more referees (Trade and Bank referees)

Manage Bank/Trade reference responses

  • Capture trade/bank references – record bank and trade references when they are received in CreditMatrix.

  • Analyze trade/bank references – CreditMatrix provides analysis of the bank and trade references to determine the CZ proprietary TREF Score, which is a measure of the credit risk profile of the customer as experienced by third parties. In other words, you learn what other companies think about your customers.
